Job summary

Mountain Ltd. is seeking an Outside Plant Field Engineer to support a project in Southeast Missouri. This field-based position will focus on collecting and verifying information needed to support OSP engineering and design.

Key responsibilities include field verification for OSP facilities, pole location checks, grounding condition verification, route reviews, and documentation of field conditions for downstream engineering, with attention to QC items and updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform field verification and data collection for OSP facilities.
• Verify pole locations and update inaccurate geographic locations.
• Conduct visual pole inspections and document visible structural concerns with photos and field notes.
• Verify grounding conditions and document broken or missing grounds.
• Evaluate attachment locations, spans, make-ready conditions, anchors, and down guys.
• Review underground routes for obstructions and document necessary route or feature changes.
• Verify service-point locations against actual field conditions.
• Accurately document field conditions and proposed changes for downstream engineering.
• Respond to field QC items and complete necessary corrections or updates.
