Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC in Texas is seeking an Outside Parts Salesperson to develop and achieve maximum profitable sales volume of parts and labor services from assigned accounts in a designated territory. You will analyze customer operations to determine future parts, service and truck requirements, and plan territory coverage.

Responsibilities include calling on key accounts, taking orders, promoting products, maintaining expense discipline, and supporting counter staff as needed.

Qualifications

• One-year automotive parts related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and achieves maximum sales volume for parts and labor services from assigned accounts.
• Oversees operations of assigned customers and advises on inventory, service, and new products.
• Plans territory coverage; calls on key accounts, takes orders, and promotes products.
• Completes customer call sheets weekly with summaries of calls.
• Controls personal expenses within the approved budget and submits weekly reports.
• Promotes all MHC product and service offerings including RoadForce, Service, Body Shop, Truck Sales, Leasing, Carrier and Finance.
• Investigates and refers customer complaints to management; assists counter personnel as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
