Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing company. We are hiring an Outside Parts Salesperson to develop and achieve maximum profitable sales volume of parts and labor services from assigned accounts in a designated territory.

The role involves analyzing customer operations to determine future parts and service needs, planning territory coverage, calling on key accounts, and promoting a full range of MHC offerings.

Qualifications

• One-year automotive parts related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and achieves maximum sales volume for assigned accounts for parts and labor.
• Oversees operations of assigned customers and advises on inventory and services.
• Plans territory coverage and calls on key accounts regularly.
• Takes orders, promotes products, and provides literature as needed.
• Completes customer call sheets weekly with call summaries.
• Controls personal expenses within the approved budget and submits weekly reports.
• Promotes all MHC product and service offerings including RoadForce, Service, Body Shop, Truck Sales, Leasing, Carrier and Finance.
• Investigates customer complaints and refers to appropriate managers.
• Assists counter personnel with orders, deliveries, returns, inventory and other tasks as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
