Job summary

Bergey’s Truck Center- Vineland in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Outside Parts Sales Representative to drive profitable parts and service sales across an assigned territory and strengthen customer relationships.

You will promote all Bergey’s profit centers, call on existing and prospective customers, and stay current with product launches and programs to expand market share. A strong background in truck parts sales and solid organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in truck, aftermarket, or auto parts sales.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new product lines.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and online product directories.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed sales and gross profit goals within an assigned territory.
• Promote and sell truck parts, tools, fasteners, and industrial supplies using best-practice sales techniques.
• Increase market share by calling on a wide range of existing and prospective customers.
• Communicate new programs, campaigns, and product launches.
• Monitor competitive activity and develop strategies to win new business.
• Maintain continued product knowledge through company and manufacturer training.
• Attend sales meetings, trainings, and trade shows as needed.

Summary:

• Seeking an experienced parts & service sales professional with a background in the commercial truck industry.
