Job summary

Bergey's Truck Parts in Johnsown, PA is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to generate sales of truck parts, tools, fasteners, and industrial supplies within the Johnstown area, while delivering top-notch customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in the truck/auto parts industry, strong time management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and online product directories. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in the truck/auto parts industry preferred.
• Customer Service skills.
• Ability to learn new product lines quickly.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and online product directories.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed sales and gross profit goals of assigned territory by promoting and selling truck parts, tools, fasteners, and industrial supplies.
• Increase market share by calling on a large cross section of customers and potential customers, communicating programs and selling new products.
• Understand the competition within the territory and develop strategies to win over new customers.
• Continue to learn new products/product lines through trainings and programs.
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, trainings, and trade shows.

SUMMARY:

Generate sales of parts in quantities and at profit margins necessary to achieve or exceed market share, revenue and gross profit objectives, while promoting and ensuring superior customer service and working within a company team environment. Works with assigned accounts and prospects for new accounts. Contacts include both personal and telephone. Sells entire dealership.
