Job summary

Lennar Mortgage LLC is seeking a full-time outside sales Mortgage Loan Originator to grow our business by building relationships with home builders, realtors, and other referral sources. You will meet with prospective customers, collect financial information, advise on loan options, and help obtain loan approvals.

You will travel regularly to communities and events, conduct seminars, and maintain clear records of prospects and loan status.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Four-year college degree (preferred).
• At least three years of Loan Originating experience.
• Ability to maintain flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend work.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• NMLS License required, or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Company’s growth through outside sales activities and lead generation.
• Travel to various communities, realtors’ offices, and other appropriate locations on a regular basis to solicit new business and/or leads from home builders.
• Conduct “First Time Homebuyer Seminars” in communities to develop leads and build relationships with New Home Consultants and prospects.
• Travel to builder and realtor functions, status meetings, and events to develop and maintain relationships and customer service.
• Meet with prospective/current customers to explain offerings, obtain loan applications and required documents, and attend closings.
• Review leads daily and contact prospects via telephone and email to set up in-person/virtual meetings.
• Originate and prepare new loans in accordance with loan officer agreement and policy manuals.
• Advise customers on mortgage loan products based on individual needs.
• Review rates and lock loans with borrowers prior to closing.
• Provide pre-qualification assistance to New Home Consultants to develop a pipeline.
