Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a 2-week unpaid program (80 hours).
• Must pass background investigation and drug screen.
• Must pass physical agility test.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and repair ship components.
• Work in varying weather conditions and confined spaces on naval vessels.
• Participate in two-week training for Outside Machinist trade or hold related certificate.
