Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. is seeking a driver to perform roadside tire service for commercial vehicles. You'll respond to calls, mount/dismount tires, inspect for issues, and maintain an organized work area in various weather conditions.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, are willing to work nights and overtime, and possess basic mechanical skills related to tires and commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Ability to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to safely change and repair tires on the road in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements efficiently while on the road.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify any additional issues.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.

What You'll Do

What You Need

• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally
