Job summary

The Trainer at DePelchin Children's Center Houston supports the Training Manager by implementing outreach strategies for Foster Care and Residential Services, delivering presentations, and promoting the organization’s mission, vision, philosophy and values to staff and the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or marketing is required.
• Experience in community outreach, engagement, and public speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors services for compliance with accreditation and licensing requirements.
• Interfaces with other agency programs and community partners.
• Participates in recruitment and training activities.
• Carries out quality assurance within the service area.
• May assist in creation or delivery of training for parents, partners, and staff.
• Responds to outreach requests and coordinates scheduling of events.
• Creates social media content to promote program awareness.
• Produces collateral materials for promotion of services and training.
• Researches and recommends training curriculum.
• Coordinates foster parent and staff events to support recruitment and retention.
