Job summary

Mental Health Partnerships (MHP) is hiring a full-time Outreach Specialist in Upper Darby, PA to engage individuals experiencing homelessness and connect them with resources to shelters, cafes or safe havens.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle. The starting rate is $21.63/hour with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience with homelessness and/or mental health/substance use.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with participants using personal experience.
• Help access community resources and natural supports for independence.
• Connect participants to short-term housing such as shelters or safe havens.
• Provide de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain compliance with MHP policies and report concerns.
• Perform other duties to support MHP's mission.
