The Kings County District Attorney’s Office (KCDA) invites applications for an Outreach Specialist in the Community Resources & Re-Entry Bureau under the KCRTF Grant. The role supports individuals transitioning from incarceration-related environments with case management and direct services.
Under supervision with some initiative, the specialist will conduct intakes, input data, maintain notes, and refer participants to housing, healthcare, and employment services while traveling to NYS

KCDA has an exciting opportunity to work as an OUTREACH SPECIALIST in the Community Resources & Re-Entry Bureau under the KCRTF GRANT. The Community Resource & Re-Entry Bureau addresses the needs and concerns of individuals transitioning from an incarceration-related environment and those impacted by the justice system with the case management and direct support services.

Qualification Requirements
1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
