Description

The Outreach Registrar ensures an accurate and complete registration process in HealthQuest, including scanning and uploading patient information into ChartMaxx. Acts as a resource for laboratory, hospital departments, and physician practices, interacting respectfully with staff. Understands diagnosis and procedure codes (CPT and ICD-10) to ensure compliance with third-party regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid. Complies with all third-party requirements and upholds the department's patient-first service vision.

Responsibilities

1. Provide friendly, courteous, and effective communication to deliver first-class service.
2. Coordinate with hospital departments and physician practices to exchange information.
3. Receive specimens and paperwork, ensuring proper throughput for the shift.
4. Ensure patient demographics and insurance data are complete and accurate in the billing system.

Requirements/Qualifications
