Office of the Illinois State Treasurer in Chicago seeks a State Investments and Banking Outreach Assistant to provide administrative, logistical, and program support to the Director and Deputy Director of Outreach.

The role coordinates outreach activities, maintains stakeholder databases (CRM such as Salesforce), supports events, and prepares reports for the ePAY and Illinois Funds programs. Attendance is essential, with salary between $65,000 and $75,000.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; one+ years in administrative support, customer service, communications, or government operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support: scheduling, correspondence, document prep, recordkeeping.
• Assist outreach coordination by preparing materials and tracking contacts with local governments, agencies, and financial institutions.
• Maintain stakeholder databases and CRM systems (Salesforce) for ePAY and Illinois Funds programs.
• Support event logistics for conferences, trainings, and presentations.
• Prepare reports and data summaries for internal and public use.
• Assist with marketing by coordinating materials and vendor deliverables for ePAY and Illinois Funds.
• Respond to inquiries from program participants and external stakeholders.
• Support special projects as assigned.
