Job summary

BayCare Behavioral Health Spring Hill in Hernando County seeks an Outreach Prevention Facilitator to join a dedicated team. You will promote community health initiatives, facilitate presentations, and provide resources to the public.

Travel across Hernando County is required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field and BLS certification are required. 1 year of substance abuse or behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Driver's License.
• 1 year of substance abuse or Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement effective health and safety initiatives for the community.
• Facilitate presentations, provide resources to the public, and conduct data-driven outreach.
• Develop, implement, and manage evidence-based prevention programs (alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs).
• Serve as a resource to parents, district staff, school sites, and community agencies.
• Extensive travel across Hernando County is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health Spring Hill
• Location: Hernando County
• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: Varies
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

The Outreach Prevention Facilitator is responsible for:

• Plays a crucial role in promoting and implementing effective health and safety initiatives for our community.
• Uses a variety of methods to create effective campaigns, such as facilitating presentations, providing resources to the public, and conducting data-driven research.
• Responsible to develop, implement, and manage evidenced-based programs that effectively prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.
• Serves as a resource to parents and district, school sites, and community agency staff related to county prevention intervention resources.
• Extensive travel is required- Hernando County
• Will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
