GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY is offering a student worker position focused on community service within the Phoenix Valley. Grand Canyon University (GCU) maintains relationships with nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that improve the quality of life for community residents in the Phoenix Valley. GCU partners with Angels on Patrol, located in Downtown Phoenix, to help families move from crisis to stability by providing safety, basic needs, and connecting them to community resources. The CSLP student worker’s schedule depends on Angels on Patrol’s hours of operation. Students may not work more than 20 hours per week during the academic year (fall/spring). Eligible students may work during the summer (May‑August). This position is approved as a Community Service Learning Program (CSLP) under 34 CFR 675.2(b) and is open to non‑GCU community members. All FWS and FWS‑CSLP applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa to be considered for federal work‑study and funding.
Students may work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year. Summer employment is available from May to August. Pay is set to the minimum wage.
Equipment: MS Office Suite. No supervisory responsibilities.
