Job summary

The University of Michigan's Demography of Aging, Disability and Care Program (DADC) seeks a full-time Communications Specialist to support NHATS and MiCDA outreach, events, and educational communications. This is a two-year term with possible extension and hybrid/work options.

Responsibilities include developing audience-building plans, managing Drupal/WordPress content, newsletters, social channels, and coordinating conferences or webinars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or social science field.
• 2–3 years of communications experience.
• Experience managing social media and website content (WordPress and/or Drupal).
• Experience with website/social analytics reports.
• Strong planning, prioritization and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach communications plans.
• Post and update accessible website content in Drupal/WordPress; track analytics.
• Craft and distribute newsletters and other outreach materials.
• Plan and coordinate external events and internal webinars/workshops.
