Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Whitehall, MI is seeking an off-shift Materials Disposition Clerk for our Plant 3 Whitehall Casting Operation. You will manage disposition of materials from outsourcing vendors and inter-plant operations, ensure proper paperwork and computer entry, and provide daily reports to management, supervision, and planners.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of work experience (or six months in manufacturing).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Disposition of all materials sent to and received from outsourcing vendors and inter-plant operations.
• Monitors HWC job counts and lot travelers.
• Performs proper paperwork and computer functions related to each HWC job operation.
• Provides daily reports and activities to related management, supervision, and planners.
