Duke Raleigh Hospital, part of Duke University Health System, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Outpatient Wound & Ostomy Care in Raleigh, NC. The role emphasizes specialized wound care, oncology experience preferred, and collaboration with the Hematology/Oncology clinic teams.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering nursing care, leading a care team, and ensuring adherence to policies.

Formación

• Nationally recognized certification in Wound and Ostomy management required (CWOCN or CWON Certified).
• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• All RNs without a Bachelor's must enroll in BSN within two years and complete within seven years.
• Compact license holders must obtain NC license within 90 days.
• BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Individualize plan of care based on patient assessment.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintain environment of care including equipment and resources.
• Participate in professional development and learning opportunities.
• Support development of other staff and learners.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities and participate in related initiatives.
