Job summary

IU Health is seeking an experienced RN to join the Wound Clinic in Indiana. This PRN role supports a close-knit team delivering skilled nursing care, including patient assessments, wound dressings, patient education, and care coordination, alongside two physicians and one full-time provider.

Ideal candidates have an active Indiana RN license (or NLC), BLS certification, and 2 years ambulatory experience. The schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexible hours and no travel or on-call

Qualifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license required.
• Ambulatory setting experience preferred (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in outpatient wound clinic.
• Perform wound assessments and dressing changes.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with physicians.
• Support nurse-only visits and collaborate with one full-time and two part-time physicians.
