Job summary

Indiana University Health in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Wound Care Physician to join the IU Health Arnett Wound Care Center. This full-time outpatient role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call requirements, working with a team of 1 physician, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 7 support staff.

HBO wound care education is provided. Board-eligible/board-certified candidates with Indiana licensure (or eligibility) are invited to apply; multiple specialties are considered, including General

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in an appropriate medical specialty.
• MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for Indiana licensure.
• Specialties considered: General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine & Family Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with open wounds using advanced wound care modalities (e.g., HBO therapy, wound dressings, cellular/tissue products).
• See 10–15 encounters per day, with the majority focused on wound care and <5% HBO therapy.
• Perform wound-related procedures (cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, wound debridement, cultures and biopsies).
• Provide instruction and care in a 100% outpatient setting with no on-call schedule.
