Indiana University Health Medical Group West Region in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Wound Care Physician to join IU Health Arnett Wound Care Center on a full-time, outpatient basis.

The role focuses on advanced wound care including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, with 10-15 patient encounters daily and no on-call duties. Training available for HBO and wound care education.

Board Eligible or Board Certified and Indiana licensure are required; 8-5, M-F, 100% outpatient.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
• Specialties considered: General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine & Family Medicine

Responsabilités

• Treat patients with open wounds requiring advanced wound care such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy, total contact casting, negative pressure wound therapy, and cellular/tissue-based products.
• Manage 10-15 encounters per day with majority wound care; minimal Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
• Perform procedures including cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, wound cleaning, wound dressing, skin substitutions, debridement, wound cultures and biopsies, and related tests
