Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician in an established practice.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and nursing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with outpatient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Obtain and document accurate patient histories and vital signs.
• Perform blood draws and IV catheter placement.
• Process diagnostic laboratory samples and conduct in-house testing.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
• Position patients for radiographs and provide humane restraint.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinic areas.
