Job summary

Soap Creek Resources seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a full-time outpatient role in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers a highly competitive compensation package and substantial regional expansion opportunities within a premier healthcare partnership.

You will join a small, collaborative department to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical urology, with robust mid-level support and a strategic schedule designed to ensure week-round access for patients.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an accredited Urology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license or immediate eligibility to obtain.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Excellent clinical and surgical skills with a collaborative team-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical urological interventions to a growing regional patient base.
• Collaborate with the current department infrastructure and APPs.
• Coordinate clinic and surgical schedules to cover mid-to-late week blocks for patient access.
• Utilize modern surgical suites and pursue outpatient surgery expansion opportunities.
• Participate in a call rotation for clinic and ED per bylaws (1 in 3).
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for visits and procedures.
