Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Full-time Rehabilitation Support Assistant to assist therapy staff across Physical, Occupational, Speech, or Recreational Therapy services. You will help supervise patient exercise programs, prepare modalities, transport patients and supplies, and reinforce education under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional staff with therapy treatments and paperwork.
• Supervises patient exercise programs under therapist direction.
• Prepares modalities for therapy staff.
• Transports patients and equipment.
• Monitors equipment for cleanliness and operation.
• Reinforces patient and family education as instructed.
• Copies, stocks, and inventories therapy forms and supplies.
• Assists with orienting new and rotating staff.
• Provides cross-coverage across Advocate Health facilities.
