Job summary

Ethan's Crossing in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an Outpatient Therapist (LCAC/LSW) to join our behavioral health team. The therapist will provide evidence-based, person-centered services to individuals with substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and co-occurring conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s in a behavioral health field, Indiana licenses LCAC/LSW/LMHC, and experience in outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Must hold one of Indiana credentials: LCAC, LSW, or LMHC.
• Must maintain license/credential in good standing.
• Previous behavioral health, substance use, or outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and identify client strengths, needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as clinically appropriate.
• Provide treatment for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders.
• Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational programming.
• Monitor client progress and update treatment interventions as needed.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge documentation.
• Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team meetings, case consultations, and supervision.
• Collaborate with case managers, medical and psychiatric providers, families, and community resources.
• Identify changes in client presentation and respond appropriately to clinical or behavioral concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention and assist with safety planning when clinically indicated.
• Support clients in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, relapse-prevention strategies, and recovery skills.
• Coordinate referrals and transitions to higher or lower levels of care when appropriate.
