Job summary

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Holyoke, MA, seeks a Therapist for the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to provide comprehensive psychotherapy to individuals with psychiatric or substance use disorders. Includes individual, group, and family therapy within a structured, clinical setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan care, coordinate crisis intervention, and support discharge or aftercare.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or equivalent required.
• Current clinical license by state regulations required.
• CPR/BLS certification and Handle with Care within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling in individual, group, and family sessions.
• Participate in treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge or aftercare coordination.
• Ensure accurate documentation while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2 compliance.
