Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital, LLC invites applications for an Outpatient Therapist position on a per diem/PRN basis at the Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The role delivers age- and population-specific psychotherapy and social services, supporting patients and their families through discharge planning and coordination with referral sources.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred; active licensure is encouraged.
• Ability to work at the Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
• Variable schedule Monday–Friday and completion of Level II background screening.

Outpatient Therapist - Per Diem/PRN Opportunity

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment for adolescents and adults at its 86‑bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services throughout the Florida Panhandle. The outpatient therapist delivers and documents age‑and population‑specific psychotherapy and social services, assisting family members and referral sources through the continuum of care from admission to discharge.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Provides clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments appropriate to patient type and reason for referral to assist the team in developing a care plan.
• Participates actively in treatment team decisions.
• Provides quality documentation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other Human Service field.
