Job summary

CHI Mercy Health is seeking a Lead Therapist to coordinate a high-quality therapy rehabilitation program and deliver patient-centered care at a leading community hospital.

In this role you will manage daily schedules, coordinate case management, train staff, and participate in quality assurance while providing direct care within your licensure. Strong leadership in rehab settings is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
• Oregon PT/OT or Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• 3 years of patient care experience in a broad rehabilitation facility, latest year in AIM therapies.
• Leadership experience related to project management or team activities in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily schedules and order management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate case management.
• Train and orient staff; assist with timecard editing.
• Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment and participate in QA.
• Provide direct patient care within licensure.

As our Lead Therapist, you will help provide and coordinate a high-quality, client-oriented therapy rehabilitation program.

Every day you will monitor and coordinate daily schedules and order management, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, coordinate and review case management, train and orient staff, assist with timecard editing, maintain a safe, organized therapy environment, participate in quality assurance, and provide direct patient care within your licensure.

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong therapy leadership/coordination experience, expertise in client-centered rehabilitation programs, and the ability to manage work environments and staff development.

Job Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an Accredited Therapy Program.
• Oregon Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist License
• AHA BLS
• Three (3) years of Patient Care Experience in a broad based rehabilitation facility, with the most recent year being in AIM therapies.
• Leadership experience or strong leadership skills related to significant project management or team activities in the last two years.

Preferred

• Informatics experience

Pay Range

$45.04 - $67.00 /hour
