We are currently hiring Outpatient Therapists to join our outpatient program in Reading. At our Reading office, we service the Berks County community with:

• Outpatient Therapy
• School-Based Outpatient Therapy
• Psychiatric Services

Position Summary: The Outpatient Therapist (OPT) provides individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. The OPT assists individuals in promoting independence to manage mental health needs and/or behavioral problems. This position can be full-time or part-time depending on the applicant's availability, with a possibility of hybrid work at the discretion of the program director. Free supervision for license-eligible candidates is available for full-time employees.

Essential Position Functions:

• Provide therapy (individual, family, or group) to clients regularly
• Complete all paperwork within policy timeframes
• Attend staff meetings
• Make referrals to community resources
• Transfer skills to clients to promote independence
• Comply with all regulations and training requirements
• Participate in supervision within policy timeframes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be client-focused, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, dependable, and organized. Knowledge of mental health systems and community resources is required. Ability to intervene non-physically with agitated clients is necessary, with hazards including exposure to disease and risk of physical injury.

Education and Experience:

• Licensed mental health clinician (psychiatrist, psychologist, counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, or social worker) with graduate degree and clinical practicum OR Master's level in a related field with practicum OR Bachelor's level in a related field.
• Experience in individual and family therapy
• Knowledge of mental health systems and community resources

Credentials and Skills:

• Clearances for Child Abuse, FBI, State Criminal; CPR and First Aid certifications
