Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Jacksonville, NC is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide person-centered therapy for clients facing mental health and/or substance use challenges in our outpatient clinic. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to formulate meaningful PCPs and you may design and lead therapy groups.

The role requires a Master’s degree and current mental health licensure (LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LCAS/A; dual licensure preferred).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field and licensure are required.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and group facilitation.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop treatment goals and PCPs.
• Design and lead therapy groups to foster connection and growth.
• Provide person-centered therapy to clients with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
