ncgCARE seeks an Outpatient Therapist to join National Counseling Group, an ncgCARE partner, in Christiansburg, VA. You will deliver individual, family, and group therapy, coordinate services, and provide crisis intervention with a focus on coordinated, evidence-based care for families and children.

The role emphasizes licensure-eligibility or active Virginia licensure, strong documentation, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensure in Virginia or licensure-eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or Resident in Counseling.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong clinical documentation and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate services.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health crises.
• Lead wraparound team meetings for coordinated care.
