Job summary

Wellvance is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to deliver clinical services to individuals with SMI, SED, and/or I/DD. You will manage a caseload, provide therapy, ensure documentation accuracy, and collaborate with referral sources. Lived experience encouraged, and travel within the service area may be required.

The role supports adults and children, uses DSM-5 criteria, and includes crisis intervention and interagency collaboration. Michigan licensure is required or full license preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling.
• Licensed Michigan LMSW/LLMSW/LPC/LLPC preferred.
• CADC/CAADC certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat adults and children using DSM-5 criteria.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Participate in crisis intervention and emergency on-call rotation.
• Determine eligibility for agency services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with community partners and interagency teams.
