Job summary

High Plains Mental Health Center in Goodland, Kansas, is hiring an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy. You will perform intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and document care in line with agency standards.

This full-time, in-person position includes supervision, ongoing professional development, and a comprehensive benefits package, with a $64,218 starting salary, incentive pay, and a $7,500–$9,000 sign-on bonus.

Pay: from $64,218 per year (salaried) | Incentive Pay | $7,500-9,000 SIGN-ON BONUS | $200 optional Saturday clinic bonus

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (+ >3 hours outside normal business hours per week | 40 hours / week total)

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
• Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following:
  • Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master Level Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker
  • Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)
• Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment drug screening
