Role Description

The Outpatient Therapist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Flemington, NJ, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing individual, family, and/or couples therapy, conducting psychosocial assessments, and developing collaborative treatment plans tailored to client needs. The therapist maintains an active caseload, documents clinical services in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, and coordinates care with other providers and community resources. The role involves engaging in regular case consultation, participating in team meetings, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed clinical environment. The therapist supports Ellie's mission by using evidence-based approaches, promoting client empowerment, and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• Background in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology, and/or, Case Management to coordinate services, connect clients with resources, and advocate for client needs.
• Experience providing individual therapy and working with diverse family systems and relational dynamics.
• Active licensure or license eligibility in New Jersey (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC, or equivalent) and adherence to relevant ethical standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, manage time and caseload independently, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive care, inclusive practice, and ongoing professional development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
