As a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, our Intensive Outpatient Program therapists provide direct clinical services—including assessments, interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning—as well as individual, family, and group therapy to support patient progress. At times, IOP therapists may be required to facilitate inpatient support.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide direct clinical services following accepted standards of social/work clinical practice.
2. Plan and conduct group therapy sessions as assigned by the Director of Intensive Outpatient Program or based on physician's orders.
3. Conduct, assess, and interpret Comprehensive Integrated Assessments.
4. Review all multidisciplinary assessments and develop a multidisciplinary treatment plan under physician supervision.
5. Perform case management and discharge planning as assigned.
6. Attend treatment team meetings, provide updates on patient progress, and compile multidisciplinary treatment summaries to facilitate treatment goals.
7. Deliver patient services ethically, respecting patient dignity and satisfaction; assess and interpret patient responses considering age, disability, and cultural factors.
8. Assess and address age/disability/cultural needs; communicate appropriately with patients and families.
9. Develop treatment and discharge plans that consider cultural, age, and disability needs, involving support systems as appropriate.
10. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
