Job summary

Wellvance is seeking an Outpatient Therapist in Michigan to provide clinical services to individuals with SMI, SED, and/or I/DD. You will manage a caseload, deliver individual and group therapy, and ensure documentation compliance while coordinating with referral sources.

Role requires MSW or Counseling degree, Michigan licensure, and ability to work flexible hours with travel within the service area. Pre-employment background check and driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling.
• Michigan licensure: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC (full license preferred).
• CADC or CAADC certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within service area.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
• Pre-employment background check (criminal, driving, education, employment) required.
• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat adults and children using DSM-5 criteria.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Participate in crisis intervention and emergency on-call rotation.
• Determine eligibility for agency services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with community partners and interagency teams.
