Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Surgical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver outpatient patient care in a surgical setting. You will coordinate care with physicians and staff, support patient and family education, and ensure documentation and safety across all procedures.

The role requires active Iowa RN licensure, BLS certification within 3 months, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa and eligible to practice.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Compact State License acceptable where applicable.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings with safe, evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff and support patient and family education.
• Communicate across healthcare teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments, treatments, and education.

Education

Active RN License in Iowa

BLS certification

Compact State License acceptable where applicable

Mandatory Reporter abuse training (proof of completion)
