Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Outpatient Surgery. The role is full-time days, leading a care team to deliver holistic patient care while aligning with policies and standards.

Responsibilities include assessment, care coordination, delegation, and ensuring safe medication handling. Requires Kentucky RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire; NIHSS training within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure recognised by state board.
• Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current BLS; ACLS and PALS or ENPC within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Delegate nursing tasks and supervise care teams per unit policy.
• Maintain secure access to medication storage and follow hospital procedures.
