Job summary

Atrium Health Union - Speech and Audiology: Outpatient is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and plan care for adults and children. You will contribute to age-appropriate treatment and documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an active state license, and BLS. Full-time schedule, 30 hours weekly, with weekdays and some variability in hours.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Applicable state license for Speech Language Pathology required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient's medical, mental and emotional needs at admission and on-going basis.
• Develops and implements a plan of care to meet patient and family needs, including discharge planning.
• Communicates patient information and documents therapist's actions and plan of care.
• Provides clinical leadership and mentoring.
