Job summary

MercyOne Riverside is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics and adults to help children communicate effectively and improve verbal and non-verbal language skills.

The role splits 3 days per week in Riverside with pediatrics and 2 days per week in Clive with adults, collaborating with SLP, PT and OT in an outpatient setting. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to handle sensitive topics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) required or in good standing.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide SLP services to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with SLP, PT and OT to coordinate care; split 3 days pediatrics in Riverside and 2 days adults in Clive.

This position will be 3 days a week at Riverside working with Pediatrics and 2 days a week in Clive working with adults. This position will work with other professionals (SLP, PT and OT) in an outpatient setting.The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with complex, detailed and often sensitive topics.
