Job summary

MercyOne Riverside is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to serve both pediatrics and adults in outpatient settings. The role will be split: 3 days at Riverside pediatric clinics and 2 days in Clive focusing on adult populations.

You will collaborate with SLP, PT and OT colleagues to improve communication skills and overall language outcomes, while ensuring high-quality patient-centered care across locations. A CCC-ASHA and Iowa licensure eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in outpatient settings for pediatrics and adults.
• Collaborate with SLP, PT and OT teammates to coordinate care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and document progress.

Join the MercyOne Riverside team as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics and adults. The (SLP) will focus on making a meaningful impact by helping children communicate effectively and assisting with the improvement of their verbal and non-verbal language skills. This position will be 3 days a week at Riverside working with Pediatrics and 2 days a week in Clive working with adults. This position will work with other professionals (SLP, PT and OT) in an outpatient setting. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with complex, detailed and often sensitive topics.
