Job summary

Trinity Health in Mason City, Iowa is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics to help children communicate effectively in an outpatient setting.

You will work with a team of SLP, PT and OT to support verbal and non-verbal language development, requiring strong interpersonal skills and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA CCC.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Iowa.
• Experience in pediatric outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric speech-language pathology services in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with SLP, PT and OT and other clinicians.
• Help children improve verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)

Licensed or eligible for Iowa licensure

Join the MercyOne Mason City Cheslea Creek team as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics. The (SLP) will focus on making a meaningful impact by helping children communicate effectively and assisting with the improvement of their verbal and non-verbal language skills. This position will work with other professionals (SLP, PT and OT) in an outpatient setting. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with complex, detailed and often sensitive topics.
