Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking aRegistered Nurse to deliver fundamental and evidence-based care in outpatient specialty settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care focused on education, self-management, and patient satisfaction, administering medications and procedures per policy.

Ideal candidates have an RN license, BSN preferred, and experience in surgical clinics.

Qualifications

• Active, full, and unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• English language proficiency as required by VA rules.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) or equivalent.
• Bridge program pathway for RN licensure may apply.
• Foreign nursing education may require credential evaluation.
• VA-preferred certifications and BSN strongly encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care and delegate tasks in accordance with licensure and scope.
• Coordinate care, health promotion, and education for Veterans across the continuum of care.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on assessments and Veteran goals.
• Perform post-operative and wound care as permitted by licensing authorities.
• Ability to float to other clinic areas as needed and maintain competency.
