Job summary

Geisinger Mount Pocono is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders, including video fluoroscopy studies. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and PA licensure.

ASHA certification is required, with a preference for at least two years of related experience. Full-time, day shifts and a supportive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• PA license in Speech Language Pathology required.
• ASHA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses swallowing, speech and language function and feeding dysfunction.
• Performs evaluations within 48 hours of MD order.
• Develops comprehensive care plans and conducts therapy to restore function.
• Provides individual therapy as prescribed in the care plan.
• Performs documentation and maintains discipline-specific competencies.
• Maintains statistical records and manages equipment and supplies.
