Job summary

Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a leader to implement and manage the new Outpatient Services Division. The role directs program development, partnerships, and policy alignment across state agencies to serve Coloradans with strong governance and accountability.

The position oversees 4+ FTE PM II roles and 50+ staff, ensuring clinical operations are efficient, compliant, and outcomes-driven. It requires licensure and residence in Colorado, with on-site work mandated.

Qualifications

• New program development and implementation.
• Managing and navigating licensing process for a new program.
• Staff supervision experience.
• Crisis management and program monitoring.
• Knowledge of BHA rules and regulatory processes.
• Must be licensed in Colorado as LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LP/LAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment and direction of the new Division.
• Support strategic vision and program expansion.
• Review policies and ensure compliance.
• Oversee budgets and funding requests.
• Report outcomes to the Division Director and agencies.
• Coordinate community outreach.
