Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking an Outpatient Senior Physical Therapist in Flushing, NY. You will evaluate and treat patients with physical disabilities or injuries, set functional goals, and use diverse techniques to relieve pain, restore movement, and maximize performance in an outpatient setting.

This full-time day position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Candidates must have a NY state PT license and at least three years of experience; outpatient neurology and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current New York State Physical Therapist license required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic and advanced evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and determine goals for patients with physical disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maximize performance.
• Provide skilled intervention using a variety of techniques appropriate to achieve identified goals.
• Deliver high-quality care in the outpatient settings in this full-time, day position (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm).

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Comprehensive knowledge of basic and advanced evaluation and treatment techniques.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 3-years of prior experience.

Preferred Criteria

• Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation experience.
• Certification in Vestibular Therapy.
