Job summary

VA San Diego Healthcare System is seeking a Spinal Cord Injury LVN to join the Inpatient Nursing Services. Under the supervision of a licensed RN, you will assist with delivering care to patients in the outpatient SCI Urology Clinic and contribute as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team.

Applicants must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program with active licensure, English proficiency, and be prepared to meet VA requirements to provide direct patient care in this setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of practical or vocational nursing.
• Active, full, current and unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in a U.S. state, territory, or D.C.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of care to patients in the outpatient SCI Urology Clinic.
• Operate under supervision of a licensed RN as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide a full range of nursing care to Spinal Cord Injury patients in the SCI clinic and related outpatient settings.
