Job summary

Mercy Clinic Urology – Southfork is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient care in a busy clinic setting. You will room patients, obtain histories, prepare for exams, assist with urology procedures, and manage injections and IV therapy.

You’ll document in the EHR and maintain safety and infection control in exam rooms. The role requires an accredited nursing education, Missouri RN license, CPR certification, and strong communication and teamwork to support a compassionate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients, obtaining medical histories and assessing conditions.
• Preparing patients for examinations and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience.
• Assisting providers with urology exams, procedures and treatments.
• Administering injections (IM, subcutaneous, intradermal) and performing IV therapy.
• Supporting lab and imaging needs as required.
• Documenting clinical information and coding in the EHR.
• Maintaining exam rooms, equipment and medication safety per infection control standards.
• Responding to urgent situations and assisting with emergency preparedness.
