Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an outpatient setting. The RN is fully responsible for actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable for the quality of care delivered.

The role requires PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC, with preferred certification in a specialty. Background clearances and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Preferred: Certification in area of specialty.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provides transformational leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promotes patient safety initiatives and participates in quality initiatives.
• Supervises delegates and evaluates assigned LPN scope of practice as appropriate.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement a patient plan of care.
