Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for individuals or families in an outpatient setting. The RN is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for quality of care delivered.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure required.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for outpatients.
• Lead and mentor staff, and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve care quality.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and standardize order sets.
• Ensure documentation meets hospital policies and quality guidelines.
